Are you talking about the eggs in my profile picture? 🙂
Okay, I have to confess. This picture is photoshopped! Sorry! A friend of mine took a picture of me squatting and then superimposed it on a picture of a nest of eggs.
The picture of the eggs actually shows an eagle’s nest. Lizards’ nests look very different. Most lizards lay their eggs under rocks or dig a hole in the ground and cover the eggs up. The outside of a lizard egg isn’t hard like a chicken egg, but it’s quite soft, more like leather. Because lizard eggs are soft, they need to be kept a little bit moist, otherwise they will dry out and the baby lizard inside will die.
