Question: how long do you plan to do science for?

  1. As long as it takes. Or as long as it’s interesting.

Well, my whole life – that’s the plan. I have a theory that everyone is a scientist, we just don’t realise. If you ask questions, experiment with your surroundings and think, you’re a scientist. You don’t have to be paid to do it…

  2. I’ve been doing science professionally for over twenty years and would like to continue doing science for a long, long time. My brother often says what would you do if you won the lottery. Sure I might get a new car or go on a holiday and stuff like that, but even if I did not need a job, I’d still like to do science-related things.

  3. I hope to keep doing science for a long time. I like all different types of science though, so I’d like to work at lots of different jobs to get different experiences, but I hope they all have something to do with science

  4. I think I’ll always be interested in science and that my work will always have something to do with science. I don’t think I’ll do research forever because although there are parts of it which are great, I think I would enjoy writing about science and teaching other people about it more.
