Question: Round About how many articles have you written during your life or what age did you start?

I have only really started this year in a serious way. How old am I? I am around three decades old.

Before this year I blogged about science on my blog before being sent in the direction of writing for Science Network WA, http://www.sciencewa.net.au/, where a team of writers write on science news in Western Australia. It’s been really fun so far because I’ve met so many talented and awesome scientists not just from WA but also from all over the world. Being a scientist is one of those jobs that allow to work just about anywhere just so long as the work you do is there.

All up I have written about 17 articles since February. I’ve interviewed one Nobel Prize Winner, stepped in many different labs and have gone to a few science conferences where scientists get together to talk about the work that they do. They’re really specialised. One science conference was all about fossils so there were scientists worked with real dinosaur bones and went on palaeontological digs. If I could be any other scientist it would have to be a palaeontologist. Who doesn’t love dinosaurs?
