I like working with all the animals you’ve mentioned, plus fish and insects and other animals too. Most of my experience with animals is with reptiles, but I’ve also worked a lot with fish (particularly a tropical fish that lives on the Great Barrier Reef) and with amphibians.
My favourite animal is the Eastern Water Skink – you can see a photo of this lizard on my profile page. It’s not the prettiest animal, but ever since I was a kid I always loved trying to catch these lizards when I went on holidays to the South Coast. Now I get to study them at uni! I also thing animals that change colour are really cool, like chameleons!
The only mammals I work with are humans… Favourite animal – cheetah. Love watching that thing run. Favourite chemistry animal – chameleon, because the colour changing thing is just awesome.
