Question: How do you figure out the zodiacs?

  1. Zodiac stuff is astrology, which isn’t science – forget about it.

  2. What do you want to know?

The zodiac is made up of twelve signs, assigned based on the date of your birth. Each of these signs is thought to give you a different personality type and to be affected by the positions of the sun, moon and planets. It is part of astrology, which is often called a pseudo-science, or fake science.

Watching the stars to predict events on Earth has occurred for a long time and in different cultures. There’s no scientific evidence to show that the positions of the planets affects our lives, but there are people who believe that it does. Horoscopes come from astrology and I think you will find them included in all the major newspapers, so there is general social acceptance of the idea. Most people will probably tell you that they don’t believe a word of it though.

I wouldn’t know how to ‘read your sign’ or whatever it is you do, because I’m one of those people who don’t believe in it. You can figure out your sign using your birth date, then read the horoscopes for that sign. Just remember that horoscopes are usually so vague that they could apply to ANYONE, and the idea is that you will focus on the few predictions that do ‘come true’ and ignore the many that are incorrect.
