It really depends. In most cases you do sit around when you’re 14 and wait. In some cases a nest of termites could invade the house and take out the kitchen so not even a birthday cupcake can be made.
Are you asking about being a teenager? If so, yes, it is hard to turn 13, and 14, and 15, and 16 …
In those years, for some it is especially at 15, people are changing from being children to being adults. The change is emotional, physical, psychological, and for some also spiritual. It can be confusing to have so much happening all at once, but it is normal. Often it helps to talk to someone we trust outside the immediate family. A good family friend or a grandparent.
I turned 15 today. I’m really struggling with it. I just cannot get over all the trials and tribulations of getting presents from family and junk food and flowers from friends. Oh, the agony.
No, you just sit around when you’re 14 and wait.

What is it about turning 15 that worries you?

Sure is. Took me a number of years to get there. Can’t remember how many exactly……….maybe…. 15?
