Yes! Lizards and reptiles are definitely my favourite though. I can remember catching lizards in my backyard ever since I was about 4 years old! I always put them back where I found them though.
I’ve also worked with frogs and fish at the Australian Museum. I had to figure out what species the frogs and fish were, which is difficult sometimes. Sometimes two totally different species look exactly the same except for an extra spike on a fish’s fin or a mark on a frog’s throat.
I’ve also been to the Northern Territory – up there we got to catch small mammals, frogs and cane toads (yuck!), snakes, geckos, so many different animals. It’s amazing how different the animals are when you go to a different part of Australia. Oh, and we got to work with some crocodiles up there too!
